Dr. Jacki Tegarden
Dr. Jacki Tegarden has worked in the Veterinary Industry for 31 years. She started out as a kennel attendant, then receptionist, veterinary assistant, and technician, before going onto to become a Doctor of Veterinarian. She graduated in 2003 with degrees from Washington State University and Oregon State University. After working in the field for 14 years, she made the decision to become a practice owner. She and her partner/husband, Josh Erdahl, have been running Dill Animal Hospital since December of 2017. She is passionate about patient care, positive client interactions and employee satisfaction. Some of her favorite areas of veterinary medicine include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and acupuncture. The gift’s she feels she brings to the art of veterinary medicine are self-reliance, persistence, and deep empathy.
Outside of work, Dr. Tegarden has a whole herd of four-legged fur babies she enjoys spending time walking and training. She enjoys gardening, home improvement projects, audiobooks and trips to the mountains and ocean.
Josh Erdahl
Josh Erdahl, Dill Animal Hospital’s Office Manager, has a background in Hotel and Restaurant management as well as English studies. He graciously agreed to manage Dill Animal Hospital so Dr. Tegarden could focus more on patient and client care. He has become not only an essential part of the inner workings of the practice but also steps in to help in front and back of the clinic. He finds the most rewarding aspect of veterinary medicine to be helping people and their pets.
He shares the herd of four-legged fur babies with Dr. Tegarden. Outside of work, he enjoys listening to music, playing a multitude of musical instruments, and reading.
