No matter the age of your pet, there are times when expertise in medical care and management may be necessary. We strive to stay up to date on the most current diagnostics and treatments available to keep your pets healthy, happy and thriving. Whether it is routine vaccinations or complex treatment of an illness, we will work with you on a plan that is tailored to you and your pet’s needs.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the insertion of small, sterile needles into specific points on the body. Acupuncture points correspond to areas of the body where nerves, vessels, immune cells and myofascial planes are concentrated. Acupuncture is effective in decreasing pain, inflammation, soft tissue restrictions and improving blood flow, healing, and overall quality of life for your pet. Most pets find acupuncture to be a positive and relaxing experience. Ask Dr. Tegarden how acupuncture can help your pet!
Digital Radiology – Full Body and Dental
Dill Animal Hospital is equipped with on-site digital radiography for swift results. In the event you need a more in-depth diagnostic, we also work with specialists that can have results in as little as 24 hours!
Ultrasonography
Ultrasound is a non-invasive diagnostic tool that uses high-frequency sonic waves to evaluate the structure and function of internal organs. Additionally, it is used to evaluate for masses or tumors, to detect and diagnose illnesses such as kidney, bladder, gallbladder stones and to determine pregnancy, stage of gestation and viability of the fetus. This information is invaluable in determining the course of treatment for many disease processes.
